Everyone meet Janice our new office coordinator….
I want you all to meet our new office coordinator Janice, she will be the one answering the phone most of the time as well as returning emails and scheduling sessions.
So say hello to our fantastic new employee, here are a few fun facts about Janice….
she is a vegetarian (just like me) …. her favorite color is green…. She got married in 2008….. she is a graphic designer ….. she has three siblings… I love her shoes…..
well I guess that last one is more about me than her
So stop by and meet our fabulous new addition to the office staff and don’t be surprised to call and talk to someone other than me!!!

Here is the smiling face you will see around a lot more at the studio….

Carli + Joe = photos :)
Joe and I went out the one day to get some new photos of each other (we will get some together later this year by a photographer friend
but for right now just individuals). It was a lot of fun, we went to a new location to shoot which I loved.
Here are some new photos of us and if you are my facebook friend you probably already saw most of them and if you are not a facebook friend, you should become one

Featured in the Knot Magazine – Toledo Wedding Photographer
For the fall/winter issue of The Knot Magazine Ohio issue we had a wedding from May 2008 featured. We couldn’t be more excited to be published in a major magazine.
Here are the pages from the magazine or pick up your issue at most book stores….

We scanned them in so they look much nicer in the magazine, we recommend picking up this magazine for all brides to be, it has a lot of great information in it.

Out of Studio —
I will be out of the studio on June 7, 8, 9 (my birthday) and 10th. So I will return from my workshop on the 10th and I am not sure if I will have much access to email yet, so please be patient and I will return the emails when I return
Since blog post without photos are no fun, here are a few fine art pieces of our, which we hope to set up an etsy site soon to sell if you are interested.

In a few of them the color and darkness seem a little off, I think the program I use to upload compressed them a bit much

Jackson’s birthday cake
I ordered Jax the coolest cake from Myles Baker Street and I think it turned out awesome. I just told her that the theme was sports, they like the buckeyes and to have fun. I think it turned out so good, you be the judge

On the ABT blog :)
In the beginning of Jan. we shot Karen and Matt’s wedding in Chicago and due to the chilly weather they wanted to find a fun indoor location for their photos so they chose the ABT store and Matt just let me know that they made a blog post about it
Go to the link below to view it:

Myles Baker Street { yummy desserts }
I went to Myles Baker Street the other day for a session and I recommend you go there today
They have such yummy stuff!!!
It is located in Bowling Green right off of Wooster.
Whether you are looking for a wedding cake, a birthday cake, or just a sweet tooth fix.
I suggest you run there for a valentines treat for your loved one, trust me they will appreciate it.
Here are a couple things we got when I was there….
chocolatey goodness for Joe…

cheesecake goodness for me…

Now this next one is a coconut cookie thing (sorry meredith, I don’t know the names
) and at first I wasn’t sure if I like coconut enough for it but one I had one I couldn’t get enough, I got 5 and before I hoped on the express way in BG 4 were gone, it took all my will power to not eat the last one so Joe could actually try one
Needless to say I recommend these, and if you are driving by the studio after going to Myles Baker Street, feel free to drop some off

So run to Myles Baker Street and get some goodies!
